FortiAuthenticator is Fortinet's Identity and Access Management solution establishing centralized identity platform. Which then can be utilized on FortiGate units through the Security Fabric. Or as FSSO or RADIUS server in older FortiOS. It can be used even by 3rd party network components like routers and switches for administrative access management, or for user port authentication 802.1x.
